Leeds Hotel has Answer to Beat the Poor Weather

Leeds Hotel has Answer to Beat the Poor Weather
February 2010

The award-winning Weetwood Hall Conference Centre & Hotel in Leeds has the answer for prolonged periods of bad weather such as that we have all experienced recently. Its innovative Data Conferencing Suite allows delegates to attend and participate in meetings at the hotel from anywhere by simply using their PC.

The new suite, that uses SMART* technology, is part of the hotel's conference and meetings facilities and provides the ability to create and record presentations as they happen.

Organisations booking the Data Conferencing Suite can include delegates who are unable to reach the hotel as the innovative technology provides access for local and remote participants who can work and make notes on the same documents simultaneously.

In a poll of existing clients who did make it to the hotel during the recent bad weather, organisers are delighted with the availability of the concept. It has led to a number of enquiries about booking the Data Conferencing Suite in future.

"From a business perspective, both clients and our own, bad weather often leads to cancellations, then there are the complications of re-arranging the event and general disruption of plans and so on. For clients booking the Data Conferencing Suite this will be a problem solved. " comments Weetwood Hall general manager, Peter Chubb
