VENUEMASTERS On The Road At Event UK

VENUEMASTERS On The Road At Event UK
August 2010

VENUEMASTERS will be exhibiting on stand F402 at Event UK, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from 21 - 22 September 2010. The show features over 350 exhibitors plus a daily seminar programme tailored to hot industry topics.

VENUEMASTERS promotes the facilities for meetings & events at over 80 UK academic venues and will be launching their new 2010-11 Venue Guide at the show. In addition to a list of the venues and their locations, the Venue Guide also contains details of the free venue finding service and how to make an enquiry.

Two member venues will also be sharing the stand with VENUEMASTERS this year to give visitors the opportunity to speak to venue representatives and find out what they can offer. The University of Southampton will be on the stand on 21 September and the University of Derby will be on the stand on 22 September.

The University of Southampton has over 100 conference rooms - from seminar rooms for 20 delegates to lecture theatres that seat 420. The M27 and M3 make Southampton only an hour drive from London. The University of Derby has recently opened its new enterprise centre; the brand new facility has various sized meeting rooms, an IT training suite and an Executive Boardroom available for conferences, meetings, and training events. Rooms can cater for meetings from 10 people to 190 with competitive rates available throughout the year.

Popular magician Harry Robson will also be on the VENUEMASTERS stand during the show, entertaining visitors with his close up magic tricks.

Chief Executive Terry Billingham is positive about this year's event; ‘We're looking forward to meeting with event organisers at Event UK and telling them about some of the new developments in 2010, including 12 new member venues. With an average Day Delegate Rate of £33, rates continue to be extremely competitive and enquiry levels are high. The stand share with two of our venues will help us to demonstrate some examples of the facilities available.'
