Conference Aston Welcomes New Sales Development Manager

A leading midlands conferencing centre has welcomed a key new appointment as its sales team continues to grow.
Joy Percival will join the sales team at Conference Aston on 5th September as the new sales development manager, adding to the 6 current members of the department.
With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Conference Aston's head of sales and marketing Christine Page thinks Joy will be an asset to the team.
"Conference Aston is committed to providing outstanding customer service, with a focus on continued support in managing events, from the initial enquiry, to the event itself," said Christine.
"It is important any new team member has significant experience of the industry, to be an ambassador for Conference Aston.
"Joy has worked for key hotels and venues in the region and demonstrates a clear understanding of what our customers are looking for when booking an event.
"We've seen a real growth in the need for venues that offer packages that remain cost effective but don't compromise on quality and I am proud that we continue to deliver on these requirements."
Conference Aston welcomes more than 54,000 people a year to Birmingham for training, residential conferences, for weddings and to stay in its high quality hotel facilities and on site campus accommodation.
It sits at the heart of Aston University, which is a long established research-led university known for its world-class teaching quality and strong links to industry, government and commerce.
