Manchester Metropolitan University to open landmark new Business School

Due to open in 2012, Manchester Metropolitan University's stunning new Business School is already transforming the All Saint's Campus on the Oxford Road like a giant piece of Contemporary Art.
The new Building will feature some of the best facilities in Europe, setting a new standard for business schools and providing excellent conference and event facilities.
Pioneering design
The highly-original jewel-shaped building, features three individual towers under a stunning glass atrium which will reach 8 storeys at its highest point sloping down to 4 storeys at its entrance on the park. .The glazed façade is designed to let in the maximum amount of natural daylight and at the same time refract colours that react to the changing patterns of the sun and daylight.
Designed by award winning sustainable design firm Fielden Clegg Bradley, the 20,000 square metre building will be at the "forefront of green development" in the city and will have strong green credentials, including a ground source heat pump used for cooling and heating, ground water recycling and the use of low 'embodied energy' materials.
