VENUEMASTERS welcomes three new venues

VENUEMASTERS, the consortium representing over 85 academic venues, is pleased to announce that three new venues have signed up to membership. Newcastle University joined the consortium in September followed by the University of Sheffield and Dartington Hall in October. This brings the total number of new venues that have signed up to membership, since April 2011, to nine.
Newcastle University is located close to the city centre and is great for group accommodation. Castle Court is a purpose-built modern accommodation block, which opened in 2009, within a short walk of the city centre and Sports Centre. There are over 90 en-suite bedrooms arranged in flats. Two sizes of rooms are available - a standard single and a spacious deluxe, including double bed. Each flat incorporates a communal kitchen, lounge and dining area, complete with an LCD television with Freeview TV.

Dartington Hall is located close to Totnes in the South West of England. It is a centre for innovation, experiment and creativity. The conference centre is part of the range of social enterprises that support their charitable programmes in the arts, social justice and sustainability.
Dartington Hall offers 12 first class meeting rooms for groups of 6 to 180 people and 49 well appointed bedrooms located around a medieval courtyard. Every room offers superb multimedia equipment and internet connection and each event has it's own personal conference team and full technical support.
Dartington Hall can provide a choice of day delegate and 24-hour residential packages and a dedicated suite for conference organisers. Dine at the White Hart and sample their award-winning food served in private dining rooms or in their restaurant.
