Location and Accessibility

Event Durham co-ordinates the excellent range of conference, banqueting and accommodation facilities available within the Colleges at Durham University. Colleges are located in and adjacent to the historic city centre with access to A1(M) and air, sea and rail links. On-site parking available for 1,010 cars and 39 coaches.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE DURING VACATION PERIODS: Ten colleges together form an extensive range of facilities for conferencing, banqueting and accommodation. Some colleges offer modern technology and facilities, whist others offer beautiful, unique and historic settings. Private dining facilities, purpose built conference facilities for up to 180 all available, lecture theatres for up to 400.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE EVENINGS & WEEKENDS & YEAR ROUND: Day conferencing is available at Durham University all year round, for up to 170 delegates, theatre style. Venues range from Durham's medieval Castle to a modern purpose built conference centre, all this in one of Britain's most historic and beautiful cities.
