Location and Accessibility

Awarded city status in 2002, Newport is Wales' youngest city and host to The Ryder Cup 2010. The University is spread over two campuses - the picturesque Caerleon campus and the brand new modern City campus. Both are situated just minutes off the M4, between Bristol and Cardiff, making it a great location for delegates.

Meeting Facilities (facilities for day and residential events)

A warm welcome is just the beginning at the University of Wales, Newport, where a unique venue is offered for all your conference and event requirements.

The Caerleon campus, with its Edwardian building dating back to 1912, is an ideal location for conferences, weddings and corporate functions. During the summer months we have the ability to accommodate residential events at this campus with all facilities within close proximity.

The newly built City campus is situated on the banks of the River Usk in the heart of Newport City centre and is the perfect location to host board meetings and seminars with brand new state of the art facilities.

Our facilities include meeting rooms, classrooms, fully equipped lecture theatres, video-conferencing suite, IT suites and an Exhibition space. They have been used for team building events, interviews, meetings, receptions, product launches and exhibitions to name just a few.
